Job Description

Senior Project Manager sought by leading project developer pioneering the delivery of fast response assets in the UK. The successful Project Manager will take projects from commercial structuring through construction and handover to operations. The portfolio includes the UK’s largest utility batteries (100mw +) and UK’s first 100, 200 and 300mw reciprocating peaking plants.

The ideal Project Manager will be equally comfortable closing commercial contracts as they will in driving the performance of third parties and managing quality. You will have a background in thermal power generation, large scale renewables or T&D.

Senior Project Manager key requirements;

  • Proven track record delivering high value energy projects on time and to budget.
  • Knowledge of the UK Power market. Experience managing EPC, ICP, DNO and related third parties.
  • Previously led the delivery of high value projects (50mw+, project values in the tens of millions)
  • Experience supporting front end procurement / closing of commercial agreements
  • Experience seeing these agreements through to fulfilment

Additional experience that would be very beneficial;

  • Chartered Engineer – Mechanical, Electrical or Civil disciplines
  • Experience developing a commissioning team / capability
  • Experience working in a main contractor
